Edmonton Oilers star Connor McDavid has become the fifth-fastest player in NHL history to amass 900 career points. He reached the milestone with a goal and an assist in the Oilers' 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. McDavid accomplished this feat in just 543 games, surpassing the previous record set by Wayne Gretzky by 26 games.

600 Points Milestone

Just two days earlier, McDavid had also become the sixth-fastest player to reach 600 career points. He achieved this milestone in the Oilers' 4-3 overtime win against the Montréal Canadiens on Sunday. Once again, McDavid surpassed Gretzky's record, this time by 14 games.
