Former Baltimore AAU star Carlton "Bub" Carrington has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft after just one season with the University of Pittsburgh's basketball team. The highly touted freshman guard, who was ranked in the top 100 by Rivals, made the announcement after a standout season in which he earned several accolades.

During his freshman campaign, Carrington established himself as a key contributor for the Panthers, averaging 12.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. He was named the ACC Rookie of the Week five times and finished the season ranked second among all freshmen in the conference in scoring, sixth in rebounding, and seventh in assists.
