Adam Pally and Stephen Curry Team Up for New Sitcom 'Mr. Throwback'

Curry Stars in NBC Comedy About a Struggling Actor

Basketball superstar Stephen Curry is taking his talents to the small screen with a new sitcom called "Mr. Throwback." The Peacock comedy series will feature Curry as a struggling actor who gets a second chance at stardom when he's cast in a sitcom about a former basketball player.

Curry is not the first NBA star to try his hand at acting. LeBron James has starred in films such as "Space Jam 2" and "Trainwreck," while Shaquille O'Neal has appeared in numerous TV shows and movies.

"Mr. Throwback" will premiere on NBC on April 5, 2023. Curry will star alongside Adam Pally, who is known for his roles in "The Mindy Project" and "Happy Endings." The series will be produced by Curry's Unanimous Media and Pally's Dakota Pictures.
